Boyolali, LONG LIVE – The Boyolali regent and deputy regent candidate pair, Agus Irawan-Dwi Fajar Nirwana, were registered with the Boyolali General Election Commission (KPU) on Wednesday, August 28, 2023. One possible candidate is the younger brother of Jokowi’s former aide David Agus Junoto.

The two candidates for Regent and Deputy Regent Agus Iravan-Dvi Fajar Nirvana, along with thousands of their supporters, arrived at KPU Boyolali. In addition, from the courtyard of the Regent’s official residence to the KPU Boyolali office, there was also an exhibition of various traditional crafts typical of Boyolali.

The arrival of the candidate for regent and deputy regent, supported by the new coalition, was immediately welcomed by the KPU Boyolali commissioners. The couple Agus Iravan-Fajar Nirvana was accompanied by representatives of the political parties that support and support them.

As is known, the younger brother of Jokowi’s former aide was nominated and supported by 12 political parties when he was mayor of Solo. In addition to the three political parties that have a seat in Boyolali DPRD, the pair are supported by nine non-parliamentary parties, including Nasdem, PAN, Democrat, Perindo, PBB, PSI, Hizbi Kor, Hizbi Gelora and PKN.

After registration, the prospective regent and deputy regent candidates, Agus Irawan-Dwi Fajar Nirvana, dressed in a light blue shirt and batik collar, immediately held a press conference. In this regard, the younger brother of Jokowi’s former aide said that today, together with his regent candidate, Dwi Fajar Nirvana, he registered as a regent and deputy regent candidate to participate in the Boyolali regional election.

“Let me, Agus Iravan and Mbak Fajar Nirvana, thank God today and at the same time thank God for the blessings of our friends (all), the friends of the coalition party, so that we can officially register as candidates for Regent and Representative Boyolali for the period 2024-2029,” he said at KPU Boyolali, Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

Furthermore, former Solo City Government ASN revealed that he was registered as a regent candidate with the aim of developing and bringing changes to Boyolali Regency to improve the current situation. In fact, he hopes that if he wins the Boyolali Regency election, he will be able to further advance Boyolali.

“We have registered with the intention and purpose of building and making changes for a better Boyolali. I want Boyolali to be a leading Boyolali, a Boyolali where we can live comfortably, a Boyolali with high competitiveness and a Boyolali that is beneficial for investment so that Boyolali can progress and the goalkeeper smiles again,” he said.
