Jakarta, VIVA – Vice President of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Jazilul Fawaid, believes that the election of Sandiaga Uno is superior to that of Dedi Mulyadi, who registered as a candidate for West Java Governor 2024 on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

“Yes, because at that time there was Mr. RK (Ridwon Kamil) in West Java, now there is no Mr. Ridwon Kamil, there is Mr. Dedi Mulyadi. In my opinion, Mr. Sandi will do better in the elections than he has now,” Jazilul said at the Parelemen complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
For this reason, he said, PKB is still pushing with Sandiaga to prepare for the 2024 regional elections in West Java. to become pioneers, he said.

He said the PKB is trying to identify Sandiaga with the chairman of the Syuro Council of the PKB of West Java, Asep Adang Ruhiat. This effort extends to Sandiaga as well.

Regarding the PKB proposal, Jazilul said Sandiaga still seemed hesitant, so his party is waiting for the dynamics to develop at the end.
“(Sandiaga) hasn’t decided yet. Yeah, usually within a day or two, it becomes a major momentum that everyone records, looks at and measures, oh, this can be overcome, oh, there’s a chance to win. “Well, this is where the fun came back,” he said.
On July 3, Jazilul said Sandiaga Uno had the support of his party to run in the 2024 West Java regional elections.
Ridwon Kamil-Suswono has been listed as a candidate for deputy governor of DKI Jakarta KPU.
After attending the MPR RI National Convention at the PAN office in Jakarta, Jazilul said that “there have been several wishes from the ranks of the PKB to include Mr. Sandiaga as a candidate for governor of West Java.”
On July 29, the PKB announced that it will officially nominate Asep Adang Ruchiat as deputy governor of West Java in the 2024 regional elections.
