Jakarta, VIVA – Potential Jakarta gubernatorial candidate Ridwon Komil said he will support Jakarta football club Persia and its supporters called Jakmania. Supporting Persia and Jakmania, according to him, is the duty of the leader.

“For example, football, of course we will support it, we will maximize it, especially with the Persija brand and the club with an extraordinary Jakmania, of course we will support it as a commitment of the leader,” he said in his statement at the DKI Jakarta KPU Office, Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

In this regard, Ridvan Kamil also stressed that if elected, he will serve all the people of Jakarta well. He assured that the service will be distributed equally among the people who voted for him or not in the 2024 Jakarta elections.

There are already two pairs of candidates registered with DKI Jakarta KPU for Jakarta gubernatorial candidates. The first pair, Pramono Anun and Rano Karno, were nominated by PDI Perjuangan (PDIP). 13 political parties supported the second pair, Ridvon Kamil and Suswono.
