Jakarta, VIVA – Following the arrest of a Philippine fugitive, Alice Guo or Guo Hua Ping, the Philippines has agreed to hand over drug fugitive Gregor Haas to the national police.

“The most important thing is that the Philippine government directly handed him over to the National Police and the BNN,” said Chief Inspector General of the International Relations Division of the National Police Krishna Murthy on Friday, September 6, 2024.
But he said Gregor could not be deported to Indonesia immediately. Because Gregor is an Australian citizen, not an Indonesian citizen (WNI). Therefore, the process of handling documents etc. is necessary.

“Gregor is not an Indonesian citizen, so he cannot be like Alice, who is immediately deported to the Philippines. That is why he has to process documents and other things,” she said.

He said that Philippine authorities are supporting each other in resolving international crime issues, including negotiations for the trial of Gregor Haas in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Gregor Hass is a major distributor in Indonesia. He is known to have been living in Gili Trawangan, North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
“Gregor is an Interpol fugitive from Indonesia and the Philippines understands that. They are committed to a joint solution to the problem of international crime, including supporting Gregor to seek justice in Indonesia,” he said.
Previously, a fugitive from the Philippines, Alice Guo or Guo Hua Ping, was deported from Indonesia on Thursday afternoon, September 5, 2024.
“The person concerned will be repatriated using the deportation mechanism through enhanced police cooperation,” Inspector General Krishna Murthy said on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
Then, a fugitive from the Philippines, Alice Guo or Guo Hua Ping, thanked Inspector General Krishna Murthy before being deported today. She even called Krishna “my brother.”
“Thank you, my brother,” Alice said as she shook Krishna’s hand on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
