VIVA – Gresini Racing’s Marc Marquez has finally returned to winning ways after the ups and downs of recent years.

Márquez had a perfect weekend in Aragon. He has been present at all the MotoGP sessions in Aragon.
Victory in the Aragon MotoGP main race is a special record for Marquez. It was MM93’s first win in 1,043 days since the last MotoGP San Marino 2021 finale.

Marquez said the speed and comfort of the Ducati Desmosedici GP23 motorcycle were the keys to his victory in the twelfth round of the 2024 MotoGP in Aragon, Spain.
The runner nicknamed Baby Alien, who recorded a time of 41 minutes and 47.082 seconds, was not even in trouble since he started the race from pole position.

Behind Marquez were Jorge Martin of Prima Pramac Racing and Pedro Acosta of Red Bull Gasgas Tech 3 respectively, securing the podium.
After the race, Marc Márquez, who achieved his first victory in three years or 1,043 days, felt very proud and impressed by the support of the fans in Spain.
“It was an extraordinary race, especially to win in front of the fans. The race was very difficult, but you can have a fast bike supported by total concentration on the bike, especially on the last lap,” said Mark in a press release from Federal Petroleum, which will be released on Tuesday.
“However, I can manage the distance, plus I am more comfortable and have better performance mid-race if needed,” he said.
Federal Oil also praised the consistency of Ducati rider Marc Marquez, who claimed his first win with Gresini Racing. Marquez last won when he was still representing Repsol Honda in the 2021 Emilia Romagna MotoGP.
After joining Gresini Racing at the start of the 2024 season, Marc regained his confidence on the Ducati Desmosedici GP23. For the record, Mark has achieved six sprint podiums, five main event podiums and two pole positions throughout the 2024 season.
Rommy Averdi Saat, General Manager of Market Development at ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia (Federal Neft), said: “Marc Marquez performed exceptionally well, consistently occupying the top spot throughout free practice until the Aragon MotoGP 2024 main race.”
“Marc was able to look more comfortable maintaining race pace, so he was able to reach the winning podium in the sprint race and in the main sessions of the race. The Racing Gresini team, which had the full support of Federal Oil,” he said.
“I hope this double MotoGP win at Aragon will encourage Marc Marquez to spend the rest of the 2024 season in pursuit of the 2024 MotoGP world title,” said Benny.
On the other hand, Alex Márquez had an incident after colliding with another Ducati rider during the fight for third place.
Although he was not seriously injured, Alex lost important points, leaving him in tenth place in the MotoGP-2024 standings with 104 points.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez has moved up the ranks and is third in the 2024 MotoGP standings with 229 points.
There are still three very close races left in September this year: MotoGP San Marino on September 8, MotoGP Emilia Romagna on September 22 and MotoGP Indonesia at the Mandalica circuit from September 27 to 29.
