From VIVA’s on-site monitoring, Ridwan Kamil was wearing a white cocoon shirt with a black belt. Meanwhile, Fauzi Bovo was also wearing a white cocoon coat and a black cap.

On this occasion, Fauzi Bovo said that this moment was very good to explain the history of Jakarta city, including the Betawi rituals to Ridwon Kamil.

“We have an extraordinary opportunity. If we meet at my house, we are used to it, so there is no additional cost. Therefore, I will immediately take advantage of this good opportunity,” said Fauzi Bavo.

However, a man known as Fok believes that Ridwon Kamil already knows Jakarta. He simply admitted that he is committed to bringing Jakarta’s future leaders closer to his city.

“Brother Emil already knows Jakarta. Perhaps he knows Bandung better than Jakarta. However, I have a duty to bring whoever becomes the leader of Jakarta closer to the reality that exists in Jakarta,” Fok explained.

Then, Fouzi Bovo and Ridvon Kamil chatted as they entered the Betawi museum area. Fauzi Bovo said that Jakarta has a long history, which Ridvon Kamil may not have known about.

“Brother Emil already knows this. There may still be aspects of Jakarta that he does not know yet. For example, the history of Jakarta. The history of Jakarta is extraordinary. There is no city in Indonesia that has played a more important role in the history of this nation than Jakarta starting from the “Renaissance of the Nation”. Then the next stage was the promise of the youth. Then the struggle for independence also took place in Jakarta,” he said.

Yesterday, Fauzi Bowo also met with the prospective governorship candidates nominated by the PDIP, Pramono Anung – Rano Karno. The meeting was held at MH Tamrin’s house.
